Email to the deputy creative director at the guardian

images sent with the email :

Hello! My name is Megan Naylor- Wardle and I am just about to graduate from BA (Hons) Illustration at Leeds Arts University. I would love to send you some prints of my work, as I was wondering whether you could give me some feedback on them? I have been following The Guardian for a long time and it is fantastic to see that illustration is increasingly becoming an integral part of the paper and that it is being used to help communicate challenging and difficult issues.  Also, how the paper is promoting the creative industry as a whole. I am currently enjoying The Start podcasts, in particular Episode 8 about Will Self.  When I graduate, I will be becoming a freelance illustrator specialising in publishing and editorial illustration, so any feedback on my work would be greatly appreciated, as I am very keen hopefully one day to work with the paper. If are happy for me to send you some prints, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me – megannaylorwardle@gmail.com.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes,
Megan
