Scott is also prodomently an editoiral illustrator who had achieve large amount of sucess in his practice. Producing work for global clients but still having a very traditonal approach to working. This is really good to see as even though I have started working digtially more my tradional work is stronger and scott is a great example that the industry still wants tradional. In a one to one dissucssion about my protfolio , his feed back was overall positive, he saw the strength in the tradtional images and that there was hard with some of the images to ditingue weather they where traditional ot digtial. This is good as it means that I have achieve what I set out to do with trying to recreate my method of working digtially. One point that he did make though is that some of the images have context but they are also pritty. He said I am going to have to be careful that I don't end up being the illustrator who get knwo for drawing the pritty picutres. I need to add in the images that have the deeper concepts and are more obvious dark edge to it. But again he said it was strong and doing some looser , less serious work could be a good idea. And I agree but this might have to happen over the summer as I will have time and a bit more freedom to do this. I need to email him again to ask for people who it would be good for me to contact , but we now follow each other on instagram.
